Discord is falling out of favor with Web3 communities, and SQD is making the move. Following the example of communities like NOUNS DAO, which previously left Discord citing security and philosophical misalignment with decentralized protocols, we’ve decided it’s time to transition.
Our Discord had become fragmented across language groups, creating navigation challenges for new members. More significantly, recurring security vulnerabilities have been a persistent concern. Nearly every week, we hear about another hack where a project is compromised, and members fall victim to some sort of scam.
Rather than adopting emerging Web3-native platforms requiring high entry barriers, we chose Telegram as an interim solution — the app that’s a must-have for everyone in crypto.
