Solana Product Launch Indexing
Subsquid launches Solana Private Beta

Subsquid announced the launch of a Private Beta for Solana integration. Solana integration has been on our roadmap for Q1 this year, and this is the first step in delivering on our promise.

Developers building on Solana interested in accessing on-chain data can apply through a form to become early adopters of Solana indexing via Subsquid.

Why This Matters

Solana’s design prioritizes scalability and hardware acceleration, making it attractive for applications requiring high transaction volumes and low fees, particularly in DePIN projects.

However, accessing Solana’s historical data has presented challenges. The blockchain’s large ledger size makes local storage impractical for standard RPC nodes. The Solana Foundation operates warehouse nodes providing full history access, but this centralized approach conflicts with Web3 principles.

Subsquid’s Solution

Subsquid offers a decentralized alternative through its data lake architecture. The platform stores raw blockchain data in parquet files across a network of nodes, enabling developers to deploy custom indexers without relying on centralized RPC archival services.

The platform emphasizes performance capabilities, with speeds reaching 150,000 blocks per second and maximum flexibility for defining custom data schemas.
